Kara Gibson Brzytwa has made significant contributions in the M&A space through her role as the Principal and Managing Director of Exit Equity LLC. Since 2017, she has been instrumental in helping business owners with the sale of their profitable businesses. Kara holds several credentials that enhance her expertise in M&A, including her MBA, Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation and her Managing Broker Real Estate License. In addition, she is in her second term as an elected Governor on the Board for the IBBA (International Business Brokers Association) and is a board advisor for University of Washington’s Entrepreneurship through Acquisition certification program.

Kara’s proactive approach to problem-solving, professional marketing materials, and strong communication skills are heavily informed by her previous experiences as a management consultant in marketing, operations, project management, and business development.  Kara is a proud Smith alumna (B.A.) as well as a graduate of the University of Washington Foster School of Business (MBA).
