Kara Gibson Brzytwa is a Managing Director at Exit Equity, a boutique M&A advisory firm focused on sell-side representation for founder‑led and family‑owned businesses. Her work emphasizes transparency, readiness, and disciplined process—core principles that define Exit Equity’s advisory approach.

Kara advises directly on select M&A engagements while also overseeing Exit Equity’s sell-side advisory teams, valuation services practice and buy-side advisory group. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex financial, operational, and strategic considerations into clear, actionable guidance for entrepreneurs navigating the most consequential transaction of their careers.

Earlier in her career, Kara spent more than a decade in consulting and in-house roles. This breadth of experience gives her a grounded, cross‑functional perspective in M&A—enabling her to evaluate businesses not only by the numbers, but by the operational realities that drive value and attract the right buyers
